Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Glasgow and Travel to Portnellan
The adventure begins with a flight to Glasgow from your home destination. Upon arrival, it’s time to explore Glasgow. Enjoy lunch in the city and then visit major attractions such as George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, and the GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art), all with free admission. In the late afternoon, travel to your accommodation in Portnellan, approximately a 1-hour and 28-minute journey. In the evening, enjoy a quiet dinner and relax at the accommodation.
Day 2: Stirling and New Lanark
Start the day by exploring Stirling, a city rich in medieval history. Visit its imposing castle and stroll through the historic streets. Next, head to New Lanark, an 18th-century cotton mill village that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, stop in Aberfoyle to taste traditional Scottish caramel cake and continue to Trossachs, where you can see the famous Highland cows.
Day 3: Edinburgh
Spend the day exploring Edinburgh. Walk along the Royal Mile in the historic center and explore the closes, recommending Lady Stair's Close near the castle, where you’ll find the Writers' Museum with free entry. Stroll down Victoria Street, known for its colorful facades and local shops. Visit St Giles' Cathedral, a 12th-century architectural masterpiece with free entry. Take time to explore more of the city, visiting other local attractions and museums.
Day 4: Aberdeen
Travel to Aberdeen, known as the "Granite City." Stroll through the streets and admire the unique architecture. Then, visit Dunnottar Castle, a medieval fortress perched on a rocky outcrop with stunning views of the sea. Enjoy exploring the region and participate in the Cowal Highland Gathering in Dunoon, the largest Highland Games event in the world (entry about 9 euros for adults and half price for children aged 5 to 15).
Day 5: Cairngorms National Park and Inverness
Start the day with a hike in Cairngorms National Park, observing the rich local wildlife, including otters, hares, beavers, deer, and reindeer. In the afternoon, visit the Dallas Dhu distillery, the oldest and original in Scotland. On the way back, stop in Inverness and explore the mysterious Clava Cairns, a Bronze Age circular tomb. End the day at Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness, where you can enjoy the beauty of the lake and maybe even spot the famous Nessie monster.
Day 6: The Jacobite Train, Fort William, and Glencoe
Board the famous Jacobite train (availability to be confirmed on the day), which passes over the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, a setting for films and series. After the train journey, explore Fort William and head to Loch Ness. Spend the rest of the day in Glencoe, one of Scotland's most dramatic and beautiful landscapes, famous for its spectacular mountains and valleys.
Day 7: Portnellan, Crianlarich, and Oban
Start the day exploring Portnellan and the surrounding area. Take a hike through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, where you’ll find stunning landscapes and panoramic trails. Visit Loch Katrine, where you can take a boat ride (20 euros per adult, half for children) and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. Head west, visiting the picturesque village of Crianlarich and continue to Oban, known as the "Gateway to the Hebrides." In Oban, explore McCaig's Tower and its panoramic view of the city and nearby islands.
Day 8: Return home
Bid farewell to Scotland with a flight from Glasgow to your home destination.

The stay will be in individual or double beds in shared rooms, as the experience is meant to be lived in community.
Meals:
Full board: Completely vegetarian meals (vegan and gluten-free options available at extra cost). Meals will be organized by the group, and everyone is invited to participate in their preparation, experiencing one of the most important aspects: nourishing our bodies. We will take advantage of local products and seasonal offerings.
Transport:
9-seater van. Accompanied by Liliana or Carlos Martins, who will provide guidance and transport throughout the circuit, daily program, and logistics. Conducted in Portuguese.
