Each day brings a new surprise: explore stunning trails, discover the tranquility of the region’s rivers and lakes, and rejuvenate in the cultural richness of historic villages. This itinerary combines the thrill of adventure with the pleasure of relaxation, offering moments of pure beauty and serenity. Come experience the splendor of the Picos de Europa and let yourself be enchanted by a dreamlike setting!
Day 1: Culture and Art in Bilbao
We begin our adventure with our arrival in Bilbao, where modernity meets tradition. After checking in at the comfortable Apartamentos ALday in Maliano, we spend the afternoon at the impressive Guggenheim Museum. This icon of contemporary architecture, designed by Frank Gehry, houses a diverse collection of modern and contemporary art. We then take a stroll through Casco Viejo, Bilbao's historic center, exploring the charming Plaza Nueva and its surroundings, filled with Basque history and culture.
Day 2: Nature and History in Congas de Onís and Covadonga
On the second day, we head to Congas de Onís, where we visit the emblematic Roman bridge. This symbol of the city is a testament to the region's rich historical heritage. We continue to Covadonga, where the Basilica of Santa Maria la Real and the Holy Cave await us with their beauty and mysticism. For hiking enthusiasts, the Cares River Route offers a delightful trail, ideal for observing the local flora, including beech and oak trees.
Day 3: Coastal and Urban Wonders
Our third journey takes us to Playa de la Ballota, one of the region's most picturesque beaches. After enjoying the coast, we visit Llanes and the unique Playa de Gulpiyuri, an inland beach formed by a hole in the rock. In the afternoon, we explore Oviedo, with highlights including the Cathedral of San Salvador and Plaza del Fontán, where history and culture intertwine at every corner.
Day 4: Picturesque Villages and High Mountains
On the fourth day, we travel to Potes, a charming mountain village. Here, we stroll through its historic streets and visit the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana. We then continue to the Picos de Europa, where the Naranjo de Bulnes awaits us. A cable car ride in Fuente Dé offers spectacular panoramic views and alpine trails to explore, providing a unique experience in close contact with nature.
Day 5: Gastronomic Delights and Nature Adventures
On the penultimate day, we enjoy a visit to a Cabrales cheese factory, where we can taste this famous local cheese. We then embark on the Cares Gorge trail, an impressive route carved into the rocks, offering stunning views of the canyon and the Cares River. This hike is one of the most spectacular in the Picos de Europa, perfect for nature enthusiasts.
Day 6: Farewell and Return
Finally, on the sixth day, we bid farewell to this incredible adventure and prepare for the journey home. Every moment spent in the Picos de Europa was filled with discovery and beauty, leaving us with unforgettable memories and a constant desire to return.

Accommodation:
The stay will be in individual or double beds in shared rooms, as the experience is meant to be lived in community.
Meals:
Full board: Completely vegetarian meals (vegan and gluten-free options available at extra cost). Meals will be organized by the group, and everyone is invited to participate in their preparation, experiencing one of the most important aspects: nourishing our bodies. We will take advantage of local products and seasonal offerings.
Transport:
9-seater van. Accompanied by Liliana and Carlos Martins, who will provide guidance and transport throughout the circuit, daily program, and logistics. Conducted in Portuguese.
